Enrichment Counseling and Assessment
Dr. Powell-Kissinger earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas at Lawrence in 1996 and has training, expertise, and interest in couples and family therapy, women's issues, parenting challenges, and addictions treatment. She also specializes in wellness-oriented trauma recovery and supervision of prelicensed therapists. She researches and presents in the areas of substance abuse and and post-traumatic stress disorders. She values and respects what clients bring to counseling and helps them enhance their abilities to move effectively through life transitions and create meaningful lives. |
